What's the Best Low-Fat Sandwich that Goes Good with Buckler Beer?
By Alex Baran, Project Weight Loss Staff Writer
July 31, 2009

At an informal beer summit in Washington, President Obama had a beer with Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Sgt. James Crowley. While discussing race relations in US, Mr. President had a Bud Light, Sgt. Crowley a Blue Moon, Gates Jr. a Samuel Adams, and US Vice-President Biden had Buckler Beer. Let’s see what’s so special about these beers.

Bud Light has 110 calories per 12 ounce serving, 2.4g carbs, and 4.2% ABV. It is one of the best selling beers from America.

Blue Moon has 5.4% ABV and 171 calories per 12 ounce serving. This Belgian-Style beer has an orange-amber color with a cloudy appearance, being unfiltered.

Samuel Adams Boston Lager has 4.9% ABV, resisting on the market since 1860. She was first made in St. Louis, Missouri.

And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for - the Buckler Beer – it is a low alcohol beer with only 0.5% ABV. Owned by Heineken International, this beer is distributed in the whole world since 1988.

Usually beer goes good with pizza and peanuts. But most beers go well with steak, so here is a recipe for a grilled, low-fat sandwich: Reuben Sandwich, 1 serve.

Ingredients
2 slices of rye bread
1 thin slice of low-fat Swiss cheese
2 ounces of lean chicken or turkey
1 tablespoon of low-fat salad dressing
1/3 cup of sauerkraut

Instructions

Assemble the sandwich and grill it in a non-stick skillet. It is recommended to spray the skillet with cooking spray.

This sandwich is found in all of the major North American cities. It is said the Reuben Sandwich was first made by William Hamerly, a New York bachelor and accountant cook. He named the sandwich after founder of Reuben's NY Restaurant, Arnold Reuben.
