Diet Tips from Reba McEntire

Reba McEntire sold 96,000 copies of Keep On Loving You, taking the top spot on Billboard 200.  This beautiful singer unseated George Strait, who sold 61,000.  Beautiful, successful, slim - what’s her secret?

 

According to Lifescript, the singer is aware of what she eats and if it is or not healthy.  “I’ve all but given up eating meat, opting more for chicken, fish and salads.  When we do have meat, it’s a grilled lean steak,” explained Reba.

 

When she wants a healthy barbecue, Reba throws lean, removed from fats thick steak on the grill.  “We’ve perfected grilled tuna and swordfish too.  Put that with steamed vegetables and rice and you’ve got a well-balanced, low-fat dinner,” said the singer.

 

McEntire takes good care of her family by cooking different recipes and using foods high in calcium.  Since she found out the benefits of broccoli, Reba uses it a lot in her cooking.  Broccoli is full of vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, fiber, and folic acid.

 

She doesn’t mind the weight fluctuations.  “I fluctuate quite a bit – at least five pounds.  But I do love to eat.  It’s a great part of life.  But if I set my mind to it, I can lose the weight.”  In order to lose weight McEntire follows a strictly controlled program consisting of at least 10 glasses of water daily, lots of protein, avoidance of carbs, and getting a lot of sleep.

 

What’s a healthy life without healthy, natural fruit juices?  She has giving up waffles with peanut butter, jelly, and syrup in favor of “a fresh juice for breakfast.”  These juices clean out the system.  The singer drinks apple/orange juice, but her favorite remains the carrot/cucumber juice.

 

There’s no healthy life without exercising.  Reba McEntire likes to vary her exercise activities.  With a healthy diet and exercises, everybody can lose weight.
