Matt Damon Is not Dead, Just a Little more Fat
By Alex Baran, Project Weight Loss Staff Writer
September 12, 2009

The rumors that Matt Damon is dead were proven to be false. The actor was in Venice, Italy, to the Venice Film Festival. Matt Damon is not the only celebrity who was found “dead” by some sources of distrust; Emma Watson and Eddie Murphy were fake dead too.

Matt Damon is not dead; he gained 30 pounds, but he is definitely alive. The actor ate junk food and drank beer, preparing for his new role in the movie “The Informant!” according to Mail Online.

“It was very, very easy to gain the weight. It was very, very fun, probably the funniest time I had working, because I didn't have to go to the gym after work and I just ate everything I could see. I definitely got doughy. I started eating like crazy and drinking dark beer,” said Damon.

It is easier to gain weight than to lose it. Damon had to take up boxing so he could lose the extra pounds. “If you put it on, it's easier to get it back off. I'm just boxing. I figure if you get hit enough times, it will fall off! Now I'm the Sexiest Man Alive's chunky cousin,” he said.

On the other hand if you like beer and junk food, you don’t necessarily stop eating them if you’re on a diet. Moderation, exercising, and choosing them carefully can save you from a weight gain. Here are some examples of low-fat junk foods.

Potato chips

Bake the potato chips in a hot oven.  They have less calories and fat than the fried chips.

Cheese puffs

Try Cheetos - Frito-Lay managed to reduce about 40 calories. Cheetos has now 120 calories and 4g of fat, from 160 calories and 10g of fat per serving.

Pretzels

They may be healthy because are relatively sedate snacks. One serve of The Salt ‘N Pepper has 100 calories and 1g of fat.

Chocolate bars

There is no low-fat or low-calorie chocolate, so you might want to eat only half of a chocolate bar.

Cookies

In small quantities they’re ok, but eaten by the dozen they’ll spoil your diet.  Regular cookies (without chocolate) have 59 calories and 3g of fat.

Beer

You’ll find on the market low-calorie beer too. Try MillerCoors and Anheuser-Busch’s brews.

Unless you want to make yourself a hard time by working out, you may want to eat junk foods and drink beers with moderation. It’s all about portion control, counting calories and exercising.
