Lemar does what he does and goes to all sorts of interesting events. The R&B star will turn on the Paisley’s Christmas lights. Ruth Lorenzo will be there too; this event is the kick-off to the festivities that everyone looks forward to. On November 14, at 5:30 pm, Lemar will turn on the lights. Concentrating on Lamar and his trips, I have to that add his favorite restaurant is in London. According to “HELLO!” Lemar’s favorite place is London's super-trendy Nobu restaurant. What’s his favorite food? “The blackened cod at Nobu. It’s delicious – absolutely delicious,” he said. The blackened cod is an oriental-style dish; there are various recipes , but Lamar says “it’s amazing, beautiful – you can’t go wrong with blackened cod.” With such a review, I find myself compelled to share the recipe with you. Black Cod with Miso Ingredients - 4 tablespoons of white miso paste
Instructions Mix the sake, mirin, white miso paste, and sugar thoroughly in a plastic container and set aside. You may want to save some for plating purposes. After you pat the black cod fillets, dry with paper towels, put them into the plastic container, over the mixture; cover it and leave to steep in the fridge overnight. Preheat both the oven and an indoor grill at 400o F. Lightly wipe off any excess miso marinate clinging to the cod fillets, but don’t rinse it off, then lightly grill it on both sides until it turns brown. Transfer the fillets to the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes. Add a few extra drops of the mixture on the plate and serve hot. The good thing about black cod is that it’s very low in saturated fat and high in potassium. The bad thing is this fish is high in cholesterol. Well, nothing’s perfect, but this recipe is delicious, so “bon appétit!” ©2009 Project Weight Loss. All rights reserved.
